Graphs have found many applications in virtually every branch of mathematics and computer science, both in theory and in practice. Graphs arise naturally when there are connections between pairs of objects. Such connections could have different meaning in applications: two persons are friends, there is a direct flight from one city to another, one task should precede another one, one folder is a subfolder of another one, a person is an immediate boss of another one, and so on. We give a few specific examples below.
