Let us show how Chernoff's inequality can help in real life. Imagine you are organizing a lottery. A participant pays one ruble for a ticket and receives a ticket with a random integer from the interval \([0,9999]\). At a designated time, a ball with a number from the same interval is drawn at random. All participants whose number matches receive \(5,000\) from the organizers.
Problem. Suppose \(10\) million people bought tickets. How much will you (as the organizer) earn on average?
