Project: Optimal Circuit Synthesis with SAT · Seven-Segment Display
Lesson 1
A seven-segment display shows one decimal digit. It consists of seven bars, each of which can be lit independently:

The circuit's four input bits encode a number from 0 to 15. Its seven output bits control the segments in the order \(a,b,c,d,e,f,g\). For inputs 0 through 9, the lit segments must form the corresponding decimal digit; inputs 10 through 15 are don't-cares and may produce any pattern.
